Digipak
What is a digipak?
A digipak is a packaging used for CD singles or albums. They typically consist of a gatefold (a book-style). In this are usually pictures of the artist/band and a biography, so the audience can get a feel about their life and how they developed the music. There are sometimes lyrics produced in the digipak so the audience can follow. The back cover captures all the songs that feature on the CD.

Editing Inspiration
While doing my research for my music video, I found a very innovative video on youtube of a dance sequence to the song that I am using.
I really liked it and the editing techniques used really inspired me and gave me a stimulus for when I was editing

Editing my Music Video
The tool box is very easy to use on Final Cut Pro because the symbols are clear and bold.
The tool I used most was the 'cutting tool' because I have a lot of flickered scenes. I felt that cutting the clips up gave the music video a massive impact.
The effects were also very easy to use and very easy to find.

I could try as many different effects as I wanted to, to see which one had the biggest impact. I could also use two or more at the same time on the same clip. For example I used the effects 'glow' and slowed some clips down on the dancing scene because I felt that this made everything much more brighter and interesting and ad an impact when hitting the strong beats of the song. All these effects made that scene come to life and produced a satisfying finish.

Editing Software
Final Cut Pro is the software I used to create my music video. This software allowed me to edit my music video to the song and to add a variety of effects. Using this software last year meant that I was more familiar with it this year and found it much easier to use. I found it easy to use and I found it exciting to experiment with the different effects it had on it.

Where I Had to Change my Arrangements
Initially I was going to record some of the scenes with a guy so he could represent the boyfriend, but as I did some more research I realised that this would ave made my video too narrative and although
I wanted my video to have a sense of emotion, I still wanted to keep it abstract. Therefore I decided to get rid of the male actor and focus my video only around my artist and the dance. The reason being that I thought it would look very effective and draw the audiences attention to only my artist, especially because of the fast cuts.
Overall I am glad I made this change, because it turned out well and it fit together with the rest of my music video nicely.

Costumes That Will Be Used
Millie wears many different costumes to represent different things and as this is a female artist my research has shown me that costume changes are key to make the artist stand out.
In the bathtub scene, it looks like she is not wearing anything but of course she is wearing a swimsuit, I just arranged the camera angle to make it look like she is not. She has no make-up on and the only costume visible are her silver artificial long nails. This represents her vulnerability, as she is stripped back bare. I got my inspiration from Rihanna's image in her video Stay.
The two different dresses she wears whilst she is singing shows her style and the way she, as an individual, likes to dress. These costumes contrast from one another as in the day scene the dress is black and in the night scene the dress is white. This use of monochrome colours was used deliberately as the song if very serious and too many flamboyant colour may deter from the meaning of the song and make it more light-hearted, which it is not.
Millie is wearing a simple black leotard and leggings in the dance scene, this is so the audience can focus on the choreography.

She has a full face of make-up to show her elegance and beauty and a set of false eyelashes to give that celebrity look.
